BIOGRAPHY OF THE ORGANIZER-CHAIRMAN OF THE SESSION

Dr. Shija Kazumba received his BSc. in Civil Engineering and MSc in Water Resources Engineering at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in 1997 and 1999 respectively. In March 2005 he received his PhD in Engineering at Gifu University, Japan. His research area is groundwater modeling and statistical analysis of extreme values with application to Hydrology. In 2005 Dr Kazumba Worked with WACOS JAPAN Co. Ltd (Japan) at the position of Water Resources Engineer. He is now a Lecturer in Civil Engineering Department at Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (Tanzania). Currently is on Post Doc leave from Tanzania to Israel at the Ben Gurion University of the Negev. His current research is on Integrated Water Resources Allocation and Management Modeling.
